The venue is the beautiful blue flagged rosses point beach in sligo. It is less than ten minutes drive from sligo town and has loads of parking. In the event of unfavourable weather conditions, Mullaghmore beach will be used as an alternate venue. It is twenty minutes drive from sligo town and is more sheltered and has been used in the past for these reasons.
