The event is not for profit and ran by a voluntary committee. This year we donated over €1,000 to Sligo Kayak Club and Sligo Civil Defence
The popular race information evening and workshop will take place once again in sponsors Call of the Wild with the date to be confirmed. This is free to all competitors and anyone else interested in attending.
In 2015 and in a first for swim events in the region we introduced chip timing for our swimmers to give faster. more accurate results. Local company core timing will be back on board for 2019 to provide this service once again
